You can find us at the Bakshi Building on Malacha Road in Kharagpur. It is a recognizable spot near Dhekia. Lavaya Infracon Private Limited is the name on our door, but most people around here just know us as the local building guys. We handle various infrastructure projects around Midnapore. Our office in Nimpura is where we keep all the records and equipment logs. It’s a practical space. We have some old chairs and a big table where we spread out the site plans. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the construction activity nearby. We don’t spend much on decorations. We’d rather put that into the projects we are working on. The road outside can get quite busy with trucks and motorcycles, but it’s a good place to be. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Most of our work involves managing teams and making sure the gravel and cement are where they should be. It is not a quiet job. There is always someone shouting instructions or a machine running somewhere. We like the pace of it though. It feels good to be part of the growth in this area. We aren't a big city firm with shiny suits. We are just local people who know how to build roads and structures that stay put. Every day brings a different challenge, and we just deal with it as it comes. It is hard work but it keeps us moving.
