Flyeet Bricks Private Limited is based out of the Chandi block area. We are specifically in Panch-Tulsigarh village and Tola-Tulsi. The business is connected with Yugal Prasad. It is a rural setting, which is where you usually find brick kilns and that sort of thing. Our work is all about bricks. It’s a dusty, outdoor kind of life. We are located in the village, so we are surrounded by fields and open space. This is very different from the offices in Kolkata. Here, we are more concerned with the weather and how it affects the brick-making process. Rain is always a worry for us. We have a lot of workers who help with the manual labor of stacking and moving the bricks. It is a very old-fashioned kind of business in many ways. We don't have a high-tech office. Most of our work is done right there on the ground in Tola-Tulsi. We are just a local brick company trying to supply materials for the buildings going up in our block. It is a hard way to make a living, but it is steady work. We know most of the people around the village. We just keep our heads down and try to produce enough bricks to keep the business going. It’s not a glamorous job, but bricks are always in demand for something. The days are long, starting early before it gets too hot, and we just keep at it until the sun goes down. Sometimes the ground gets messy, but that's village life.
