Binapani Gramin Unnayan Foundation

We are located at Holding No-690/587 in the Bhawanipur area of Kharagpur. It is right in West Midnapore. Kharagpur is a busy place with the railway and the colleges, but Bhawanipur is where we have set up our base. The holding number is the easiest way to find us if you are looking at the local records. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we do our administrative work for Binapani Gramin Unnayan Foundation. The space is used for keeping our papers in order and meeting with local people. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local group working out of a fixed address. The area around Bhawanipur is quite active. There are always people around and the sounds of the town are constant. We have been here for some time now. Our office isn't anything to brag about. It has a few chairs and some cupboards for files. We think it’s better to keep things simple and low-cost. That way we can focus on the actual work in the rural areas. Kharagpur is a good central spot for us to reach different parts of Midnapore. We are just regular people trying to manage the foundation from this holding. It’s a practical setup and it serves its purpose. No need for anything more than that.
