The Assists Building Right And Responsibilities Foundation, or Abrr as we often call it, is located in Vill Rajnagar. We are based out of Mritunjoy Pradhan’s place. Rajnagar is a small village in West Medinipur, and our post office is right there too, with the pin 721436. We are deep in the Midnapore countryside. This foundation is really just a handful of us trying to help people understand their rights and what they’re responsible for in the community. It sounds a bit formal, but it’s actually just us sitting down with people in the village. We don't have a big corporate building or anything. We work from home and meet people under the trees or in small rooms. Most folks here are farmers or workers, and they don't always have time for paperwork. We try to help with that. It’s about building something better for the village. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the struggles people face. We aren’t some outsiders coming in with big ideas. We just want to help our neighbors handle things better. It’s slow work, and it doesn't always go perfectly. We have a lot of conversations about local laws and how to get things done at the panchayat level. It is very basic and very local. We don't have a budget for anything fancy. We just use what we have to help out our fellow villagers with whatever comes up.
