Slow Flame Restaurant Llp

Slow Flame Restaurant is out in Tentulberia, near the Debhog post office. We are part of the Haldia Municipality in East Midnapore. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but we like it here. We opened up because we thought the area needed a place to eat that wasn't too complicated. The kitchen gets hot, and the days are long, but we’ve gotten used to the routine. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. We use what we have and try to get the orders out as they come in. Sometimes we have a full house and other times it's just a few locals sitting around. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the Haldia area. We spend a lot of time prepping ingredients in the morning. It’s honest work. The name Slow Flame kind of describes how we do things—we don't rush if it means the food won't be right. We’ve had some ups and downs since starting in Purba Medinipur, but we’re still here. It's just me and a small crew of workers. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big meetings. We just talk about what needs to be cooked that day. It's a simple life running a restaurant in West Bengal. We just try to keep the lights on and the food ready for whoever walks in.
