Sitaraseva Foundation

Our foundation is set up over at Sk Idrish’s place in Amarshi Kasba. That is in East Midnapore, near the 721454 area. It’s a local spot where people know each other by name. We started this because we wanted to help our own community. We don’t do big city things or have meetings with fancy people. It is just us, sitting around in Amarshi, talking about how to help the local families. Sometimes we help with food, sometimes it is just helping someone read a letter they got. It’s very basic stuff, but it matters to the people here. Midnapore is a big place, but we focus on our little corner of it. We don't have a big budget, so everything we do is pretty grassroots. We rely on people being kind to each other. It’s not always easy and sometimes we run out of resources before we run out of people who need help. That is just how it goes sometimes. We don't try to hide that or pretend we are bigger than we are. We are just a small group of people in a small village trying to do some good without expecting much in return. You won't find us in the news or anything, but if you live in Kasba, you probably know who we are and where we sit.
