We are Goldorbit Gems And Jewellery Private Limited, based out of Surarankar village. Our setup is at Ajoy Kr. Rana’s place in Panskura, which is in Purba Midnapur. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but it’s where we belong. Most of our work is done right here in the village. We handle gems and jewelry for the local folks and some people from the nearby towns. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the details of the jewelry pieces. The pace of life in Panskura is a bit slower, which suits us fine. We don't have a big website or a social media team. We just talk to people face to face when they come by. Word travels fast in the village anyway. If someone needs something fixed or made, they just come by the house and ask. We have our tools and our workbenches set up in a corner. It gets a bit dusty when the wind blows across the fields, but that’s just part of living here. We’ve been doing this for years, and we know our craft well. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we are happy to be part of this community in Midnapore. We don't need much more than our tools and some steady work to keep us going through the week.
