Day Vegetarian Trade Export (Opc) Private Limited

Day Vegetarian Trade Export is a small operation run by Manas Jana. We are located in Uttar Asda, which is a village area under the Belda police station. This isn't a city office with fancy furniture. It is more of a local setup where we focus on vegetarian products and agro-trading. Being out in the countryside means we are close to where the food actually grows. Manas and the rest of us spend a lot of time talking to local growers and seeing what the harvest looks like. The pace of life here is slower than in Kolkata, but when it comes time to move goods, things get busy fast. We have to coordinate with trucks to get the produce out of the village and toward the bigger markets or for export. It’s an One Person Company, so it’s very personal. There aren't many layers of management to go through. If there is a problem with a shipment of veg, we just deal with it right then and there. The roads can be a bit rough for the big lorries, especially during the rainy season, but that is something we deal with every year. We don’t have any big slogans. We just know our products and we know the people who grow them. It is about simple trading and making sure the quality is decent before it leaves our hands.
