Anjali Research Foundation

Anjali Research Foundation is located in the village of Atberia, which is part of the Hari Jhama post office area in East Midnapore. We share space with Mrinal Maity, who has been part of this community for a long time. It is a very rural setting, quite far from the noise and rush of the big cities. The air is cleaner here, and the pace of life is much slower. We focus on research and community work that actually matters to the people living in these villages. It isn't a high-tech lab with gleaming white walls. It is a practical space where we sit together and discuss our projects. Sometimes we meet under the trees or in the small office room when it rains. Being in East Midnapore gives us a different perspective on things. You see the challenges people face every day with farming and local infrastructure. We try to do our part through the foundation. It is a humble setup, but we think it’s better to be close to the ground. The people in Atberia are helpful and they know us well. We don't have big budgets or fancy equipment, but we have a lot of local knowledge. We spend our days collecting data or talking to the villagers about their needs. It is quiet work, but it keeps us busy. We are just a small foundation trying to do some good in our own little corner of the district.
