Vijaya Poultry Farm

Vijaya Poultry Farm is out in Gowdavelly village, specifically at Sy No:444 in the Medchal Mandal. It’s a typical farm life here. We start very early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up, to take care of everything. Being in Gowdavelly means we have a bit of peace compared to the main city areas, though Medchal is getting busier every year. The farm is at Sy No:444 and it's where we spend all our time. We aren't corporate people with degrees in business; we are just folks who know how to run a poultry farm. It’s hard work, and it smells like a farm, which is just part of the deal. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a mission statement. We just focus on the birds and making sure the farm runs smoothly every single day of the week. Sundays are just like Mondays here. Sometimes the trucks coming to pick things up are late, or the feed delivery is delayed, and we just have to figure it out. It’s an honest way to make a living. Most of us here at Vijaya Poultry Farm grew up around this kind of work, so it feels natural. If you’re ever out in the Medchal area near Gowdavelly, that’s where you’ll find us. We keep the gates open for deliveries but otherwise, it's pretty quiet.
