Pumax Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is located at Pl No 153 on Road No 4 in the Industrial Estate. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trucks and forklifts moving around. We have been here for quite some time now. Our work involves processing chemicals for industrial use. It’s a lot of big vats and pipes and keeping an eye on the pressure gauges. We don't have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll find one of us in the back checking a shipment. It can be a bit smelly depending on what we are mixing that day, but you get used to it. We focus on getting the batches right every time. It’s hard work and the days can be long when we have a big order to finish. We don't spend money on expensive ads. We just talk to the other businesses in the estate and they know they can come to us for what they need. Road No 4 gets pretty dusty in the summer. We just keep the gates closed and get on with the mixing. It’s a small team and we all pitch in with the loading and unloading. We just want to do a decent job and get home to our families at night. It’s a no-nonsense environment here. There's always something to clean or a drum to move.
