Our place is Shed No. D/17 in the Medchal Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where we do everything for Chargewave Energykem. The estate is quite large, and sometimes the truck drivers get confused looking for our specific row. We have a decent-sized shed with a big metal roof. When it rains, you can’t hear yourself think because of the drumming on the tin. But mostly it’s just the hum of the equipment. We have a small office section that we partitioned off with some plywood, just to keep the dust off the computer. It’s not very stylish, but it does the job. We keep a lot of our supplies in the back, stacked up high on racks. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one, which can be annoying. We’re a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. There’s no such thing as "not my job" here. We eat our lunch together usually, sitting on some crates or at the main table. Medchal is a good spot for us because there’s plenty of room. We don't have a big neon sign, just a small painted board near the gate. It’s a quiet life of just getting through the daily list. There's a patch of grass near the gate that we try to keep neat, but the trucks usually end up driving over it. It’s not a perfect office park.
