Our office is located in Flat No. 204 at the Swapna Srinivas Apartments, which sits on Plot No 298 and 299 in Balaji Nagar. It’s one of those apartment complexes where you have to buzz in or talk to the watchman at the gate. We’ve been here for a while and the space has definitely taken on a lived-in feel. There are stacks of paper on most surfaces and the chairs are all a bit mismatched because we just bought them whenever we needed another one. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. Balaji Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. We usually have the fan going at full speed because the room gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons. Most of the people working here have been around since the start, so we’re a pretty tight-knit group. We don't have a lot of meetings; instead, we just shout questions at each other across the room. There’s a small tea shop around the corner that we frequent, and the owner knows exactly how we like our chai. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, but it’s functional and serves its purpose. We spend our hours here dealing with the usual day-to-day tasks. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break until it comes back, but that’s just how it is. It’s a real, working office.
