Our company, Sushruth Apparels And Textiles, is located in Alwal at G.V. Reddy Colony. We are at Plot No. 93, in a building called Raghavendra Nilayam. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s a nice enough area once you get here. We are mostly into making apparels and handling different types of textiles. The space we work in is quite modest. It’s basically a residential building that we've converted into our workspace. Because of that, it has a very casual vibe. You might hear the neighbors or dogs barking outside while we are trying to work. We aren't some big multinational corporation. We are just a local team of people who know a thing or two about garments. There are usually sewing machines running and people cutting fabric on the big tables. It gets a bit dusty with all the lint from the clothes, but we keep it as clean as we can. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just want to make good clothes and sell them for a fair price. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and trying to find the right materials. We enjoy what we do, even if it’s just a small operation in a quiet colony. We’ve been here for a bit and the locals know us as the apparel people. It’s just how we earn our living.
