You can find us on the 3rd floor of the G Pulla Reddy Sweets building in Secunderabad. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so it makes it easy for people to find the office. We do a lot of work with glass, mostly for buildings around Hyderabad. Being on the 3rd floor means we do a lot of stairs, but the view is okay. Our day starts early with checking the schedules and seeing which site needs what. Glass is heavy and fragile, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the transport. The city roads aren't always kind to our cargo. Inside the office, it’s mostly phones ringing and piles of blueprints on the tables. We have to be precise because half a centimeter can ruin a whole installation. My brother and I started this after working for another shop for many years. We learned the hard way about how to handle different types of tempered glass. It’s a lot of responsibility when you’re dealing with the exterior of a big building. Sometimes we stay late just to finish a quote or check a shipment. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when you’re covered in glass dust or sticky from the tape. But we’ve built a decent reputation just by showing up and doing the work. People often stop by the sweet shop downstairs and then come up to see us. It’s a good spot to be.
