We are located at H.No 12-1-283/35/b on Anand Nagar Road 2. This is in the Bandlaguda area of Nagole, which is a fairly quiet residential part of town compared to the main city center. Oslava Ethnic Designer Studio Private Limited is basically a workshop. We have tailors and designers sitting together in one big room. It’s not silent; there’s always the sound of scissors cutting cloth or the hum of the machines. We focus on ethnic wear, so there is a lot of thread and sequins on the floor by the end of the day. We try to sweep up every evening, but it’s a losing battle because the mess comes back. The street outside is narrow, so we know all the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. Sometimes their kids come by and peek through the door to see what we are making. We don't have a big sign outside. Most people find us because someone told them about our work. We spend a lot of time making sure the fittings are right. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the clients. We aren't a high-end boutique with soft music and expensive smells. We are a studio where things actually get made. Sometimes we stay late when a wedding order is due soon. We just drink more tea and keep going until the job is finished. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working with our hands and seeing something finished at the end of the week. Nagole is a good place.
