Out here on Gajularamaram Road, things are always moving. Our place is in IDA Jeedimetla, which is mostly industrial, so there’s always a lot of noise from trucks and other units nearby. Ofit Fashion India Llp is basically just a group of us working out of this space at 5-32-880, Road Number 8, in the HAL Colony area 500055. It’s an honest living. We spend most of the morning unloading materials and the rest of the day trying to organize the workspace. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces and wiping down the machines. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workplace. We have some sewing machines and cutting tables spread across the floor. The light in the afternoon is actually quite good through the front windows. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad-Hyderabad for some time now. Dealing with the traffic on the way to Jeedimetla is probably the hardest part of the day. Once we are inside, it’s just about getting the orders ready and checking the fabric quality. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make clothes and hope people like what we produce. If you come by Road Number 8, you might hear the machines running through the door. We try to keep things simple and stay out of trouble. It’s just a regular small business trying to keep up with the daily demands of the fashion world around here.
