If you know Hyderabad, you know Kukatpally is always bustling with people and cars. Our office is up in the flats, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We handle chit funds for the local residents and shopkeepers. It’s a two-room setup where we keep all the records and hold our meetings. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have the monthly auctions, but we make it work with what we have. We have a couple of computers, but we still like using the paper registers because it feels more solid to us. The building is a regular apartment block, so it feels more like a home than an office.
