Lokayanasthanak Foundation

If you’re out in Dammaiguda, you might have seen our sign at Plot No.63 in VRR Enclave. We are right there in the Nagaram area of Hyderabad. Lokayanasthanak Foundation is a small operation, mostly run by a few local folks who wanted to do something for the community. Our office is pretty simple. We have a few tables, some plastic chairs for visitors, and a ceiling fan that makes a bit too much noise. But it’s ours, and it works. We spend our days talking to people from the neighborhood. There is always someone coming in with a question or a problem. We don’t have all the answers, but we listen and try to help where it's possible. Dammaiguda is a growing area, so there are always new people moving in. We try to make them feel welcome. It’s not about being a big name or anything like that. We just like being part of the local fabric here. Sometimes we hold small meetings or just sit around and plan for the next month. There's a lot of paperwork, which nobody likes, but it's part of the job. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with a lot of notes scribbled on it. It’s a humble place, but we take pride in keeping it running every day for the people who live in this part of town. We hope to stay here for a long time.
