Most days it is just us here going through piles of forms and checking university requirements for people who want to go elsewhere for their studies. It gets pretty loud sometimes because the phones do not stop ringing. We started Laurels Overseas Educational Consultancy Private Limited because we saw how many students were getting confused by all the different websites and conflicting advice online. It is mostly just a few of us in Flat 401. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at visa dates and entry exams. Sometimes the internet is slow or a student forgets a document and we have to track it down. It is not a fancy setup. We just have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and lots of folders. People come in from all over Hyderabad asking about different countries. We try to keep up with the changes in rules which happen more often than you would think. It is a lot of reading and making sure the names on the passports match the school papers. We are usually here from morning until late evening depending on how many applications are due that week.
