Label Wabi Sabi Llp

Our little studio is Flat No 2 in the S S Habitat building, which is part of S S Enclave. We are right opposite the Carnival Club in Yapral, Jawaharnagar. It’s a quiet residential area, so it doesn't feel like a big busy office. We like it that way because it feels more personal. The name Wabi Sabi kind of fits us because we aren't about being perfect. We’ve got stacks of fabric in the corners and sketches pinned to the walls. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of work going on, but it makes it easier to talk to each other. We don't have any formal meetings or big speeches. We just sit around the table, look at what needs to be done, and start working. Sometimes we stay late and order food while we finish off a project. It’s just how we operate. We aren't trying to be the biggest label out there, we just want to make things that people actually like wearing. Most of our time is spent just touching fabrics and figuring out how things should hang. It’s a simple life here in Yapral. We know the security guards and the neighbors, and it feels like a real community. We’re just a few people doing what we love in a small flat, and that is plenty for us.
