Plot No. 134 is where our team hangs out most of the time when we are not out at a site. We do construction work under the name JDR GOLDENCITY CONSTRUCTIONS. It is a lot of managing different crews and making sure materials show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes it feels like we are always on the phone chasing down a truck or checking a measurement twice. Our office is not anything too fancy, just a place to get the paperwork sorted and meet with people who have questions. We have been around the 500076 zip code for a while now. Construction is tough work, there is no way around that fact. You have to deal with the heat and the traffic and all the small details that can go wrong. But we like seeing a project actually take shape from nothing. It is rewarding in its own way, even if it gets stressful. We keep things pretty simple here. No big speeches or complicated corporate talk about visions and goals. We just want to finish the job and move on to the next one.
