Hands Together Foundation

Our place is over in Bharathi Nilayam, right in the Dr A S Rao Nagar area of Kapra. The address is 19-66/3. If you know ECIL, you know it gets pretty busy around here. We have been at this spot for a while now. It is just a normal building, nothing that really stands out when you are driving past. We do a lot of community work here. Most days involve just sitting down and figuring out what needs to be done next. Some days are quieter than others, though. We do not have a front desk person, so if we are busy in the back, you might have to wait a minute. The name Hands Together Foundation came about because we just wanted to help out locally. We are not some huge international group. We are just neighbors. The office has a few desks and way too many files. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a loud clicking noise, but we just ignore it. We drink a lot of coffee while we are planning things out. Dealing with the roads in Kapra can be a real headache some days. But we show up every morning. We do not spend our money on fancy brochures or websites. We would rather just use what we have to help someone out. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is here at once. We usually have stacks of supplies near the door. We keep our records in cardboard boxes and use a couple of old laptops. Most people find us by word of mouth.
