Dantuluri Satyavati & Satyanarayana Raju Foundation

The Dantuluri Satyavati & Satyanarayana Raju Foundation is over in Pragathi Nagar. We are on the third floor, specifically Flat No 302, in Sree Nilayam. It’s built on Plot No 920 and 921. It’s a nice enough building even if the elevator is a bit slow sometimes. We spend a lot of time in this office. The foundation carries the names of people we care about deeply. We try to live up to that name every day. It’s not always easy keeping everything running without problems. We have a lot of files and books sitting on the shelves. Pragathi Nagar has grown so much lately. It used to be much quieter ten years ago. Now there are shops and cars everywhere you look. We like it here though. We stay busy with all the small tasks that need doing. People come by to talk to us sometimes about their problems. We aren't doing this for money. It’s just something that needs to be done for the community. We don't have any fancy furniture or leather chairs. Just some wooden chairs and a few desks that have seen better days. But it works fine for us. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of work to catch up on. The lights in the hallway flicker a bit in the evenings but we ignore it. We just want to keep the foundation going as long as we can. It’s a family-run kind of thing and we know our neighbors well.
