We Inroduce Nature

We Inroduce Nature is based here in Hyderabad, mostly because this city needs a bit more green. It started out quite small, just a few of us who liked being outdoors more than being stuck in a cubicle. We don't have a massive storefront on a main road. Instead, we spend our time in gardens, on balconies, and in backyards across the city. Most of our gear is kept in a small warehouse space where we store pots, soil, and various plants waiting for their new homes. On any given Tuesday, you might find us covered in mud, trying to figure out why a particular sapling isn’t taking to the soil. We deal with the Hyderabad heat just like everyone else, usually starting our work very early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of lugging heavy bags of compost and moving heavy planters around. It isn't glamorous work, and my hands are almost always dirty, but it's better than sitting under a fluorescent light all day. We talk to people about their plants and try to give them advice that actually works for this climate. We aren't scientists or big-shot designers; we’re just folks who know how to grow things. Sometimes the plants don’t do what we want, and we have to try again. That’s just how nature works, and we’re okay with that slow pace. We just want to see more trees around the city.
