Sri Sai Chemicals

We are over here in Nathaampoondi Village on Mareenmam Kovil Street. It is a quiet place mostly, but Sri Sai Chemicals stays busy enough. K. Baskaran runs things around the yard every day. Mostly we deal with different chemical batches that local folks and some outsiders need for their work. It gets really hot out here in the afternoons, so we try to get all the heavy lifting and mixing done early in the morning when it is still a bit cool. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we store the blue drums and mix what needs mixing. People usually just drop by or send a short message when they are running low on their supplies. We have been in this exact spot for a long while now. The roads around the village can be a bit dusty, but we manage to get the deliveries out okay on the small truck. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a long chat while we are loading up the goods. It’s just how things go in a small area like this. We don’t have a big office or a secretary, just a simple desk and the warehouse floor. It is honest work, and it keeps us on our feet all day.
