Suurya Farm

Suurya Farm is based out of Plot 104 at the Mayuri Hight Apartment. We are over on Road No 558 in the Ramreddypet area. It might seem a bit strange having a farm business tied to an apartment building, but that is where we handle all the paperwork and planning for what we do out in the fields of Narayankhed. We spend most of our time outdoors, getting our hands dirty and checking on how things are growing. My brother and I took over the management side of things a few years back. The office is small and usually has a few boots by the door because we are always coming and going. We handle different kinds of crops depending on the season and what the ground is ready for. Sometimes the rains are good to us and sometimes they aren't, which is just part of the life we chose. People from around the neighborhood stop by the apartment sometimes to ask about what is fresh or when the next harvest is coming in. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when the sun is high. We just keep at it because it is what we know how to do. The city is growing around us but we stay focused on the land and the local market.
