Sri Laxmi Narsimha Swamy Poultry Farm is our little place in Chervapur Village. We are located at Syno 788 in the Dubbak Shivar area. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, but that’s better for the birds. We spend every day out here tending to the poultry. It’s a 24-hour job because the birds don’t stop needing things. We wake up before dawn to check on the sheds. Siddipet District can get very hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure there is enough water and shade. Most of our sales happen through word of mouth or people just driving up to the farm. It is a lot of hard work, cleaning out the sheds and lugging bags of feed around. We have a few guys who help out with the heavy lifting. The farm is our life, really. We don't go in for fancy talk. We just want the birds to be healthy so we can keep the business going. Sometimes the price of feed goes up and things get tight, but we manage to stay afloat. Chervapur is a nice enough place to live and work. We just keep our heads down and do the chores that need doing.
