Down on Raghavapur Road, you’ll find Sri Jai Kisan Seeds Co at Sy No. 6. We are in Hasanmeerapur village, which is part of the Dubbak Mandal in the Medak District. As the name says, we handle seed processing here. It’s seasonal work in some ways, but there is always something to do at the facility. We spend a lot of time with the local farmers and people from the surrounding villages. The site at Sy No. 6 is usually filled with bags and equipment for cleaning and sorting the seeds. It’s a dusty job, especially when the machines are at full tilt, but it is important work for the area. We don’t have a fancy office or any marketing people telling us what to say. We just work the machines and make sure the seeds are ready. The Medak District is a good place for this kind of business. People around Hasanmeerapur know us well because we’ve been here for a long time. It’s not a complicated life, just the daily routine of processing and moving stock. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move the trucks on the village roads, but we manage somehow. Sri Jai Kisan Seeds Co is just a local business doing its part in the community. We often share a meal in the yard when the harvest season is busy.
