Sri Dhanalakshmi Solar Power Systems Ind. Pvt. Ltd. is based over in R.C. Puram, right near the Bhel area. It’s an industrial part of town, so we are surrounded by a lot of big factories and workers. Our work is pretty straightforward; we put together solar power systems for people who want to move away from relying solely on the grid. Because we are near Bhel, we deal with a lot of folks who understand the technical side of things, which makes our job a bit easier sometimes. We have a lot of solar panels and metal racking sitting around our space, waiting to be taken out to a site. The days can be long, especially when we are out in the sun installing heavy panels on a factory roof or a large house. We don't really do the whole corporate pitch thing. Usually, someone just comes by or calls us because they saw one of our trucks or a system we put in for their neighbor. We focus on the wiring, the battery connections, and making sure the converters are doing what they are supposed to do. It’s a lot of grit and sweat, especially in the summer months, but it feels good to see a system start generating power. We’ve been in R.C. Puram for a while and we plan to stay right here where the work is, just keeping things moving one day at a time without any fuss.
