Sri Hanuman Traders / Shivampet

Sri Hanuman Traders is over in Shivampet. We don't really have a street number. People just say we are at "0" Shivampet. It sounds funny but it works for us. In a place like this, you don't really need a map. Everyone knows the Hanuman name around here. We do trading. It is mostly agricultural stuff or whatever the locals are looking for. The shop is a simple place with shelves and some floor space for bags and crates. It gets a bit crowded on market days. We open up early and stay open until the sun goes down. Most of our customers are neighbors or farmers from the surrounding fields. We talk about the weather a lot because it matters for the crops. If the rains are good, business is good. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just talk to people face to face. Sometimes we share tea with the regulars while they wait for their orders. It is a slow pace of life compared to the big cities. We like it that way though. The dust from the road comes inside sometimes, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It is just a regular life in a regular town. We do what we can to keep things moving and stay on good terms with everyone in the village. It is not complicated work but it keeps us busy.
