Moodramulu Poultry Farm

We are located out in Bommareddygudem Village, which is part of the Choutkur Pulkal Mandal in the Medak district of Telangana. It is a rural spot, away from the city noise, which is better for the birds. The farm is where we spend all our time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and there is always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a fence or the feeding systems. Morning starts very early here, usually before the sun is even up, because the chickens don't wait for anyone. We’ve got the sheds laid out across the land. It’s a lot of physical labor, cleaning and carrying bags of feed, but that is what you expect when you run a poultry farm. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather gets too hot and we have to worry about keeping the sheds cool. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just a small room where we keep the books and take calls. People from around the village and the district know where to find us if they need eggs or birds. It’s just us out here in Medak, doing the work we know how to do. It’s dusty and loud with all the clucking, but it’s home for us. We just keep things running as best as we can every single day.
