Manthan International School

We are located in Tellapur Village, which has changed a whole lot since the school first opened up. The Mandal area is getting busier every single year with new buildings. You can still see some open fields if you look out from the windows on the upper floors, though. Most of us get here pretty early in the morning before the sun gets too high and things get hot. The school is a mix of different people from all over, which makes the lunchroom a pretty loud and lively place to be. We don't have a fancy reception area with marble floors; it’s more about the classrooms and the kids. The playground gets a lot of use, and there’s always someone losing a ball over the back fence. We spend our afternoons grading papers or talking to parents who drop by after they finish work. It’s a long day for everyone involved. The buses have to navigate some narrow roads to get here, but they manage to do it every day. We have a lot of potted plants around the main entrance because a few of us really like gardening. It’s not some polished corporate office. It's just a school where things get a bit messy and books get worn out over time. We try to keep the kids focused, but kids will always be kids. Some days are definitely harder than others, especially when it rains and everyone stays inside.
