About Lakshmi Venkateshwarrao Fly Ash Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Medak
Located in Bhanur village within the Patancheru mandal, our yard is mostly full of grey fly ash bricks. We’re at plot number 4-67, which is basically a large open lot where the machines run most of the day. It’s quite a noisy process, pressing the ash and cement together to form the bricks. The air is often a bit heavy with the fine dust from the materials we use, so we’re always wearing masks or wrapping cloths around our faces. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a small room at the corner of the plot where we keep the records and drink our tea. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoons, and there isn't much shade except under the machinery shed. We see a lot of tractors and small trucks coming in to pick up loads for local construction sites around Bhanur. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual work, stacking the bricks so they can cure properly. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the bricks are solid enough for whatever they’re being used for. It’s a messy business, and we go home every day with grey dust on our clothes. That’s just the life of working in a fly ash brick unit in a growing area like Patancheru. It’s hard work but it pays the bills for us.
