You can find Lahir Impex at Plot No. 7 in Phase 1. We’ve set up our operations here because it’s a practical spot for an import-export business. It’s an industrial phase area, so it’s all about utility. Our office is pretty basic. We’ve got desks, chairs, and stacks of files that never seem to get smaller. We spend our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure the cargo gets where it’s supposed to go. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of waiting for people to call you back and checking the same documents three times to make sure there are no mistakes. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We’re just a small team trying to keep the wheels turning. Some days everything goes right, and other days the logistics are a nightmare. We’ve learned to take it in stride. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar with a lot of deadlines marked on it. Being in Phase 1 means we’re surrounded by other companies doing similar hard work. We mostly keep to ourselves but we're friendly enough if you drop by. We deal with various goods and markets, which keeps things interesting at least. It’s a lot of coordination and patience.
