Jagadguru Poultry Farm

The farm is out in Medak district. You have to go to Tekmal Mandal and then find Achhanapally village to see us. It's a bit of a drive from the main city. Our spot is Sy No 137/A. It's a big open area where we keep all the birds. Jagadguru Poultry Farm is a lot of hard work every single day. The chickens wake us up very early in the morning, and there is always something to clean or something to fix. Medak is a nice place but the work on a farm never really stops for a holiday. We spend most of our time in the sheds or checking the feed bags. Achhanapally is a quiet village, so the birds don't get too stressed out by noise. We have some workers from around the village who help us out with the heavy stuff. The ground is often covered in feathers and dust, but that's just poultry farming for you. It’s not a clean job by any means. We don't have a fancy office, just a small room where we keep the records and the phone. Sometimes the trucks come to pick up eggs or birds, and the road gets a bit busy for a few hours. In the monsoon, the mud makes it hard to get around the farm, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to be the biggest farm in Telangana, just a good one here in Tekmal. People know us by the name Jagadguru.
