Indu Kiranam Shop

Indu Kiranam Shop is my small store in Mustabad, specifically at house number 11-112. We are in the Dubbak area within the Siddipet District. I have been running this shop out of my home for a long time now. It’s a very basic setup. I sell things like rice, sugar, oil, and various snacks that the local families need. The shop is right at the front, so I can see everyone passing by on the street. I open up early in the morning, around 6 am, because that’s when people start their day and come in for milk or matches. I have bags of grain on the floor and jars of sweets on the counter for the kids. I don't use any fancy computers; I just have a simple ledger where I write down what people owe me. In the afternoons, when it gets very hot, I sit on a wooden stool and wait for the evening rush. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a bit even if they aren't buying anything. We have a small refrigerator for cold drinks which is a big help during the summer months. The village life is slow and I like it that way. I know almost everyone who comes through the door by their name. It’s not a big business, but it provides for my family and serves the people around here.
