Gopi Arts

Gopi Arts is based at Dr.No.9-86 in Shankarampet, over in the Andole area. It is a quiet place where we spend most of our time painting or working on different artistic tasks that come our way. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the shop is filled with the tools of our trade—brushes, jars of color, and wooden frames. It is a bit of a messy place, but we know where everything is. Most of the work we do is for local people who want something hand-painted or designed for their homes or shops. We don't have a big fancy storefront. Instead, it’s a working space where the floor usually has a few paint drips on it. We like it that way because it shows we are actually doing something. Life in Shankarampet is steady, and we follow that pace. We don't rush through things just to get them done; we take the time to make sure the lines are straight and the colors look right. People often stop by just to see what we are working on at the moment. We don't do a lot of talking about ourselves. The work we finish and put out into the world usually speaks for us. It is just a small local shop trying to add a bit of color to the neighborhood. We take things as they come and keep our brushes moving.
