Chandu And Bross Poultry Farm is located out at Sy No 133 in Achhanapalli Village. It’s part of the Tekmal Mandal in the Medak District of Telangana. We’ve got a good bit of space here for our poultry. Running a farm like this means there isn't really a day off. The birds need looking after every single morning and evening. We spend a lot of time walking through the sheds, checking on everything. It's mostly family running the place. We sell eggs and birds to the local markets around Medak. The road out to the village can be a bit bumpy, especially after it rains, but we're used to it. We don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just us doing the daily chores. The noise from the chickens can be quite something when it’s feeding time. We have to keep a close eye on their health and the quality of the feed we buy. It can be a stressful business when things don't go right, but we’ve managed to keep going for quite a while now. Most people around here know us by name. We don't do anything fancy, just standard farming like our neighbors. It’s a lot of manual labor, hauling sacks of grain and cleaning up. That’s just the way it is. We start long before the sun is up and usually finish when it's already dark outside. It’s a repetitive life, but it suits us fine.
