Balaji Laboratories

Our place is spread across Plot No. 182 and 197 in Phase II of the IDA in Pashamylaram. It’s a bit of a drive out to Medak, but we’ve been here quite a while now. Working in a lab is different from the other factories nearby. It’s quieter, for one thing. We spend a lot of time looking at vials and checking monitors. Everything has to be kept just right, or the work doesn’t count. The air inside always has that sharp, clean smell of chemicals. We wear white coats and spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes the results we want take a long time to show up, so there is a lot of waiting around and checking the clock. The lab benches are usually covered in glass tubes and notebooks. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the testing and the chemistry work day in and day out. Outside, the industrial area is dusty and loud, but once you step inside Balaji Laboratories, it’s a whole different world. We have two separate buildings, so we spend a lot of time walking back and forth between them during our shift. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s important to get it right. We just focus on the samples and the data we get every day to keep things moving.
