Kirby Building Systems India Pvt. Ltd is located over at Plot No.8 to 15 in the Ida Phase III area of Pashamylaram. It’s a massive plot because we deal with big structures. If you’ve ever seen those large steel buildings going up, that’s the kind of stuff we’re involved with here in Medak. The facility is huge, and you really need to walk a lot just to get from one side to the other. It’s dusty and loud most of the time, with cranes moving parts around and people welding. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around. Pashamylaram is a bit out of the way, so most of us commute together or spend the whole day on-site. The sun hits the metal roofs pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we’re used to it. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy paint; we focus on the steel and the fabrication process. It’s practical work. Every day there is a new set of plans to look at and more beams to move. We’ve got a crew that knows how to handle the heavy lifting without complaining much. It’s not a glamorous life, but there is something satisfying about seeing a giant building start as just a pile of parts in our yard. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a long day but the results stay standing for decades.
