Tata Refractories Ltd Belpahar

Working out here in Dahikoti is quite an experience. We are located near B. Sathilo in the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. It’s a remote area, so you won't find the usual city comforts here. The roads can be a bit rough, and it takes a while to get to the main towns. Our work with Tata Refractories is heavy and grounded. The office is a simple building that fits right into the rural surroundings. We are surrounded by a lot of trees and open land, which is a nice change from the crowded cities. Most of the people here have been working at this site for a long time. We don't have high-speed internet that works all the time, so we spend more time talking face-to-face and writing things down in ledgers. It’s a very old-school way of doing business, but it works for us. The weather can be intense, especially during the monsoons when everything gets muddy. We just put on our boots and keep going. Lunch is usually a simple meal we all share in the small break area. We don't have any promotional posters or fancy furniture. It’s just wooden desks and old metal cupboards. It’s a place for people who don't mind a bit of hard work in a quiet, rural setting. We take things one day at a time and focus on the production numbers. It’s a very honest way to earn a living in Orissa.
