Larsen & Toubro Limited, Ecc Division is located at At/Po-Raikama. This is in the Mayurbanj Dist of Orissa, Pin 757052. It is mostly just a place for the supervisors and engineers to gather and plan out the week. We do not have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep things moving. The building is modest. We often have to travel out to the sites, so the office can be quiet during the middle of the day. There are no decorations to speak of. We keep our files in steel cabinets and use simple wooden desks. Life here moves at a different pace than in Kolkata or Mumbai. We deal with the local weather and the terrain. Most of the people working here are from around this area or have moved here for the project. We do not put out brochures or advertisements. Our presence is known because of the work we do on the ground. It is a functional, no-nonsense workspace. We focus on getting the structures built and making sure the supplies arrive on time. It is a humble place for such a big name. The commute can be long for some of us, but we do not mind it.
