We are based in Baripada, specifically in the Deulasahi area near Ananda Bazar. Friend Syndicate Buildcon is the name on our door, but to most people around here, we are just the folks who do construction work. Being in Mayurbhanj, we have a slightly different pace than the big cities like Bhubaneswar. We like it that way. Our office is right in the middle of the local market buzz. You can hear the sounds of the street all day while we are trying to look over project plans. We do buildcon work, which keeps us pretty busy year-round. Sometimes we are dealing with residential projects, and other times it might be something else, but it’s always about building. We aren't into those slick marketing presentations you see from the big firms. We just talk to people plainly and tell them what can be done and what can't. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery of bricks being late or the rain stopping us from pouring concrete, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. That's the reality of construction in Orissa. Our team has been together for a while, and we all know our roles. We don’t need a lot of oversight.
