Sujashoe Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located in a place called Kuthalam, which is part of the Mayiladudhurai district. Our address is No 2/25 in the Agraharam area. It is a much slower pace of life out here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We focus on making shoes, and the factory is a place where there is a lot of manual labor and the smell of leather and glue. Most of our workers live nearby in the village, so it feels like a very local community effort. The building is a simple structure that keeps the sun off us while we work. In the Agraharam area, things are pretty traditional, and we try to respect that while running our business. We spend our days cutting soles and stitching uppers, and there is a steady rhythm to the work. It gets quite hot during the middle of the day, so we usually start early in the morning to get the bulk of the work done. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big corporate headquarters.
