Sridevi Doors & Frames

We've been at Kutcheri Road for a while now. It's right near New Selva Lodge. People usually come to us when they need doors or frames for their houses. We keep things pretty simple here at Sridevi Doors & Frames. It's just a regular shop where we get the work done. Sometimes it gets busy, but we try to manage. We handle the wood and the sizing mostly ourselves. If you walk down the road, you'll see us at number three. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we cut things to size and put them together. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Most of our customers are just local folks or builders who know where we are. We don't really do much advertising, just word of mouth mostly. My brother and I run things day to day. We make sure the frames are sturdy enough. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s what we do. If someone needs a specific door size, they just bring the measurements and we see what we can do. We keep a stock of different materials in the back. Not everything is always in stock, but we can usually get it. That’s how we’ve always operated here on Kutcheri Road. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just show up, do the work, and hope people are satisfied with what they get.
