Royal Kavas Imports & Exports Pvt. Ltd. operates out of No. 64 Tranquebar Road. It is a plain building on a street that gets a fair amount of traffic during the day. We spend our time here dealing with all sorts of goods that need to go across borders. It involves a lot of logbooks and coordination with truck drivers who are usually in a hurry. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees, but we keep busy enough with the small crew we have. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know how to handle the glitches that happen. Tranquebar Road is a familiar place for us and we like the location. We set up here because it was convenient for the local transport links and easy for people to find. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and computers to get the job done. We handle both imports and exports, so there is always something different happening on any given Tuesday. One day we are worried about sea freight and the next it is air cargo. It is a lot of tiny details to keep track of, like weights and measurements and various tax codes. We don't try to sugarcoat the work; it is often stressful and quite tiring. But we like the feeling of finishing a big shipment. We don't use fancy words. We just move stuff from one place to another.
