Muthu Store

Muthu Store is located at 6A on Mayiladuthorai Road in Kuttalam East. It is a small place, sitting right by the side of the main road where everyone passes by. We have been here for many years now. The building has seen better days and the paint is peeling a bit, but it is sturdy enough for us. We sell a variety of things that people in Kuttalam need for their homes. Most of the time, it is just one or two of us behind the wooden counter. We know the people who pass by every morning on their way to work or the temple. The road can get quite busy with buses and cars, so there is usually a bit of dust hanging in the air. We spend our afternoons restocking the shelves and chatting with the regulars who come in for a few items. We do not have any big signs or neon lights to grab attention. Just the name painted on the front and some goods displayed in the small window. It is a humble setup. We do not try to be anything we are not. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to finish the day using candles or a torch, but that is just how things go around here. We focus on having what people actually ask for. If we do not have it in stock, we try to get it from the city for the next time.
