Our business is situated at No. 303/16 in the 2nd Block of Ayakaranpulam. We are near the Vedaranyam Circle. It is not in a big city like Chennai, but it is a place we know well and enjoy living in. We focus on diamonds here. Being in Vedaranyam means we are part of a smaller community where news travels fast and everyone knows everyone else. Our office is a straightforward place. We don't have a lot of flashy lights or big advertisements on the roof. We just do our work quietly. Dealing with diamonds requires a lot of concentration and we spend a lot of time looking at stones through lenses. The area around us is mostly quiet, which helps with the focus. We have been here long enough that people recognize us when we walk to get tea. Sometimes it’s hard being away from the major trade centers, but we manage just fine with what we have. We have our own ways of doing things that work for us. It’s a family-style environment even if we are a private limited company on paper. We take our work seriously because diamonds are expensive and very small, so you really can't afford to lose track of anything. The building we are in is simple and sturdy. We don't need much more than our tools and a safe place to keep the goods at night. Every morning we come in, unlock the doors, and start the day's tasks. It is a slow and steady process that keeps us busy.
