Vicky Steels

You can find Vicky Steels over at C-1/86 in Green Park, right off Mawana Road. It’s a decent area, though the road gets pretty busy with all the through traffic heading out of town. We’ve been set up in this building for a good while. It’s not a massive warehouse, but it’s enough space for us to keep our stock and handle the daily grind. The office part is just a couple of rooms with some older desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the ledger. There’s usually a bit of dust around because of the steel, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. It’s just the way it is. The guys working here are a small group, and we’ve mostly known each other for years. We usually have our tea outside under the shade when the weather is nice. It’s a straightforward business. We don't bother with fancy decor or expensive signage. A simple board out front tells people where we are. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when we’re loading up the trucks, but we try to keep it down. It’s a solid place to work, even if the fans get a bit loud in the summer heat. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping things moving along the Mawana Road corridor.
